Medical Emergencies in the Community **PRIVATE CLASS Verde Valley Church Security**

This class will cover the recognition and treatment of the following topics:
- Diabetic Emergencies
- Hyper/hypotension
- Allergy/Anaphylactic reactions (administration of an Epi-Pen)
- Opioid Overdose (administration of Narcan)
- Stroke
- Cardiac Events
Taught by an experienced Paramedic, this class will give you the opportunity to learn how to identify and manage a patient experiencing a medical emergency until First Responders arrive, with hands-on learning and open discussion.
4 easy steps:
Step 1: Purchase the class through our website – you will sign up for a class session (session scheduling closes 48hrs. before the class to allow time to complete registration)
Step 2: Receive an email with class confirmation and location on Thursday before the scheduled class
Step 3: Attend scheduled session – Ask questions and practice with one of our instructors. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall behind the Main Sanctuary. PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES before your scheduled class time to complete registration.
Step 4: Receive your certification via email within 1 business day.
*Class minimum of 5 attendees for each time offered. If the class you signed up for has less than 5 attendees enrolled 48 hours prior to the class, you will be contacted via email and invited to attend a different class time.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: No refunds for classes unless the purchase was made in error. Reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled course. A rescheduling fee will be applied if there is less than 48 hours’ notice or no call/no show.
